M116 is a MM106 X with M27 produced in 1965 by East Malling Research, it is not widely available as it is difficult to propagate.

Resistant to woolly apple aphid, resistant to collar rot (Phytophthora cactorum), mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha) and the specific replant disease.
