Need Help?

Growing black walnut seeds is a relatively easy process, but it does require some patience. Black walnut trees are slow-growing, so it can take several years for a seedling to reach maturity. However, the rewards are worth it, as black walnut trees are beautiful and produce delicious nuts.
The walnuts need stratifying. This means exposing them to cold temperatures for a period of time. You can do this by planting them in the ground in the autumn or by cold stratifying them in the refrigerator till the spring.
Please Note - Black Walnut Seeds are only available over the winter period.
